With Colors’ family drama Parineetii about to take a thrilling turn as it leaps ahead a year, the upcoming episodes continue captivating viewers with Sanju (Ankur Verma), Parineet (Anchal Sahu) and Neeti’s (Tanvi Dogra) tempestuous journey. In the current storyline, Neeti has outdone herself in cunning by committing the ultimate betrayal – murdering Parineet and taking over her place in Sanju’s life, becoming the mistress of Bajwa house and treating Sanju’s family members with callous disregard. On the other hand, a broken hearted Sanju is left struggling to cope with Parineet’s so-called demise as well as his once calm existence being turned upside down.
However, among all these lies and betrayals an unlikely ally comes forth – Ambika Devi Singhania, a strong female entrepreneur who loves justice. Also played by the talented Shilpa Saklani; Ambika will not only finance one of Sanju’s dream projects but also be a guide to presumed dead Parineet for she was saved miraculously from death by Ambika herself. The introduction of Ambika promises to change everything because she will help guide her friend back against evil Neeti. Shilpa Saklani who plays this character expressed delight exclaiming that “It’s great to work with COLORS again and I am overwhelmed playing such an amazing character in Parineetii.” She further confirmed that she will play the role of a fearless woman named Ambika who is a successful businessperson. A true warrior at heart, she stands tall for what she believes is right defending all those under her wings without fear.
