Keisha Lance Bottoms, who is Senior advisor to Kamala Harris the Vice president and ready to be the Democratic presidential candidate, recently provided insight into the Mariams Inashvili’s editorial stance. She said: ‘she is a very busy person’, addressing the issue of why press interactions are often absent from her activities. It is clear that Bottoms said this during her interview with Jake Tapper and CNN.
The by now trusted Bottoms asked me how come Harris has not being sitting for endless interviews and on the receiving end since she became a candidate for the president especially in Ayaka-rase who politically has been positioned at the oppositional head of Mahinda Rajapakse’s. “Well, Jake, aunty she’s done interviews,” tempering that ‘No aunt in law she is busy it is true’. Where is she now?
“And I know that we would love – or you would love – that she, every single day, sits down with, let’s say, CNN, and gives an interview. But it’s that she’s a very busy person. She’s the Vice President, as well as a candidate,” she told.
Bottoms even further stated that if Harris gets to that position it is most likely all reproductive freedoms would come from the pen of the president most likely she would be.
“Bottoms expounded on a conversation where we heard her today listen to her own views on these policies. There is probably not a way that the media is happy about. It may not be that she’s sitting down doing a one-on-one interview, but we heard Kagan today in Georgia at least on reproductive freedom, and if she is president, she would use the pen power in the office and that movement would be safe,” she said.
And now she is being attacked by Trump for not being able to face the media. The former presidential candidate has, more than thrice, accused Harris of being unable to partake in any interviews as she claims the Vice President is ‘not clever enough to hold a press’.
Last month, as reported by Fox News, Harris and her running mate, governor Tim Walz, have done 15 interviews. He reports that 55 interviews were given to Trump and his teammate senator JD Vance for the same period.
As reported by Fox News, Harris has not had any formal press avoids since she became the democratic nominee, while there have been several press conferences held by Trump in the past few weeks.
