Veteran actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha has been hospitalised after his body became weak due to viral fever. He was taken in at Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital.
Shatrughan’s son, Luv Sinha confirmed this information in an interview with India Express saying, “My father had been suffering from viral fever and weakness for a couple of days hence we decided to admit him into the hospital.”
Shatrughan Sinha’s hospitalisation comes only days after his daughter Sonakshi Sinha got married to Zaheer Iqbal who is not from her faith.
On June 23, actors Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony held over dinner as they professed their love for each other. The young couple were seen having family dinner at one of the lavish hotels in Mumbai earlier this week where they appeared like some kind of newlyweds full of enthusiasm.
Sinha is one of those celebrities who successfully transitioned from film industry into politics, becoming influential figures in both spheres over the years. He has been a member of parliament and actively participated in politics.
Sinha will soon be okay since medical sources indicate that he is stable. The hospital staffs are closely monitoring him to make sure that they provide quality care to him.
