In Manchester Airport, there was an incident whereby a British police officer was seen kicking the head of a man. After this video went viral, it sparked protests in England. To raise their concerns, demonstrators moved to the airport chanting “shame on your GMP”. A single police officer had been relieved of duty by Greater Manchester Police and its case forwarded to an independent ombudsman for investigation. The protestors went to a police station calling for justice. The detainees were suspected of several assaults, before the matter ended without any further violence.
