Shahid Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj, the duo you thought won’t return again on big screen are all set to comeback with an adrenaline pumping action thriller. The movie is being produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and promises to be a highly energetic visual treat thereby redefining the action genre in Indian cinema. For instance, these two have previously worked on critically acclaimed collaborations such as Kaminey and Haider and in this ambitious project they are joined by another actor, Shahid.
According to Pinkvilla report, “Vishal Bhardwaj has developed his first ever action film which he is planning to mount on a very large scale. This is a mission based action thriller that Sajid Nadiadwala cannot wait to take it to the spectacle in the biggest way.”
This film will be an extravaganza of visual beauty with six huge scenes of brutal violence planned for it. Furthermore, “Sajid and Vishal feel that Shahid Kapoor would be perfect for this role. They wish to create 6 massive action set pieces for their untitled feature.”
The moment Shahid Kapoor heard about this project he just knew he wanted it right away. “Shahid was completely taken aback by the narration of this action thriller and he was shocked at how much action there was in the script,” added our source who also stated that there’s no doubt that actor has high regard for both Sajid and Vishal’s work thus making it one of most awaited collaboration in town.
While Shahid has already been announced as the lead, makers are now trying to rope in a top-notch actress opposite him. Casting is expected soon with some exciting news expected over next months. The shoot is set for September or October 2024 commencing from India then moving onto United States so as to ensure wide shooting locations within its premise. The aim is 2025 release.
Meanwhile, Sajid Nadiadwala has several big-ticket movies lined up. For instance, Sikandar with Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna remains under production while the producer would begin shooting for Housefull 5 in the UK September onwards. On the other hand, Shahid Kapoor is expecting a Valentine’s Day release of Devaa.
