In Ahmedabad, India, popular Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan had to be hospitalized because of heatstroke on Wednesday afternoon. This is said to have happened at the Narendra Modi Stadium while Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), the team he owns, played against Sunrisers Hyderabad in an Indian Premier League (IPL) qualifier match.
SRK had been in Ahmedabad since Monday this week to support his IPL team and it is alleged that he got a heat stroke after staying there for two days. He returned to his hotel late that night after the match on Tuesday only for him to become unwell the next morning leading him being admitted at KD Hospital.
Thankfully, Shah Rukh was promptly treated at a hospital and discharged after receiving first aid. Sources say he’s getting better while his condition remains stable. However, keeping in mind with his health, he has suspended his travel plans back to Mumbai for respite reasons.
Nevertheless, none of the reports have been confirmed either by SRK or Kolkata Knight Riders.
