This special recognition is only another feather in King Khan’s illustrious cap. The gold coin, which was customized by Grevin Glasse of Paris, acknowledges Khan’s extensive and voluminous contribution to film over the last thirties years.

The news about this prestigious accolade was shared on X by Shah Rukh Khan Universe Fan Club with an accompanying picture of the coin. This is not his first encounter with Grevin as he also has a wax statue at Grevin Wax Museum in Paris, further solidifying his position as an international icon.

Upcoming recognition at Locarno Film Festival

In addition to this, Shah Rukh Khan will take home a career achievement award during the 77th edition of Locarno Film Festival that will take place from August 7th up to 17th this year. The festival will pay homage to him for his great contributions in Indian cinema over more than 100 films across various genres. There will be award ceremony at Piazza Grande open-air venue on 10th August followed by screening of Devdas (2002) and conversation with the actor on 11th August.
