Shah Rukh Khan, the superstar, has finally confirmed his next project, an action film called King. The announcement was made by him in a recent interview at the 77th Locarno Film Festival.
Suhana Khan’s debut into acting will also be marked by this film directed by Sujoy Ghosh. For those who may not know, Shah Rukh Khan received Pardo alla Carrera award in the Locarno Film Festival.

In one widely circulated online video clip, he confessed that “the next film that I am doing is called King. So I need to start working on it and lose some weight, give myself a little stretch so my groins don’t get caught while I am doing action.” This news has left fans excited awaiting its release.
SRK’s Long-Standing Desire to Work on King
SRK also shared that he has been contemplating this project for several years. After finishing Jawan and Dunki last year, Khan said that he was looking at different genres. “There’s a certain kind of film I want to do, where maybe it’s more age-centric and I want to try something,” he revealed on social media. “For 6-7 years I have been thinking about it. And then one day I mentioned it to Sujoy and yeah Sir… He says ‘I have a subject.’”
King will be hitting the floors in November this year generating significant buzz already. Abhishek Bachchan plays antagonist while Abhay Verma stars as well in pivotal roles alongside Shah Rukh and Suhana Khan respectively. Such an all-star production team promises nothing less than an action-packed extravaganza.
