A victim alleged that she was sexually harassed at the house of JD(S) leaders HD Revanna and Prajwal Revanna in Hassan’s Holenarasipura
The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the sex scandal involving Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna and his father HD Revanna, accompanied by local police officials, arrived at Revanna’s residence in Holenarasipura, Hassan on Saturday and conducted an on-site investigation of Mahazar.
The victim alleged that she was sexually harassed at the house of HD Revanna and Prajwal Revanna in Holenarasipura.
The Karnataka government ordered the formation of a special agency after a video clip of JDS chief Prajwal Revanna, grandson of former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda, allegedly having sex with several women, including several government employees, circulated in Hassan district. The investigation team investigates the matter.
Prajwal Revnna is the grandson of JD(S) executive and former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda. JD(S) is part of the NDA alliance in the state. Prajwal, 33, is also the NDA candidate from Hassan Lok Sabha constituency
Revanna was suspended from the Janata Dal (Secular) on Tuesday following the sex tape scandal. The SIT probing the case has also issued lookout notices to sitting JD(S) MPs, sources said on Thursday.
Rahul Gandhi writes to Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has written to Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah on the Prajwal Revanna case, urging him to extend support to all victims and ensure that all parties responsible for the incident are brought to justice.
The Congress leader also took a jibe at the Prime Minister, saying that the Prime Minister and the British Prime Minister wished Revanna.
