Sitharaman: Congress to hold hearing on evidence against Prajwal
Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Saturday claimed that the Congress government in Karnataka failed to take action against MP Hasan for about a year despite knowing about the matter.
Sitharaman claimed that the Congress, fearing that it might lose Vokkaliga votes, remained silent till the first phase of the Lok Sabha elections.
“They thought Vokkaliga votes might slip away from them and therefore decided to remain silent until the first phase of the Lok Sabha was over. Now they have turned it into a big issue and pushed it, which is typical of the Congress and it shows that they Hypocrisy,” claimed the BJP leader.
