The film Welcome to the Jungle, which was directed by Ahmed Khan and produced by Firoz Nadiadwallah, had its set damaged in Mumbai due to heavy rains. The production team put up an enormous set for its marathon shooting which was slated to start on Aug 1 involving all 34 main actors and another song sequence for the movie. The unanticipated monsoon downpour has however slowed the process.
Rebuilding Efforts and Resumption of Shooting
Despite this unscheduled setback, everyone in the crew is working hard to rebuild the huge set. Director Ahmed Khan has made a vital artistic decision of restarting the shoot as soon as the set is ready. “Unfortunately, some portion of our filming area got destroyed by rain pouring heavily over Mumbai. So I have decided as a creative call that we will restart shooting after re-building the set. The crew is working non-stop trying to rebuild and hopefully soon we commence with shooting,” said Ahmed Khan.
