Today’s posting will be on the Sector 36. Netflix has previewed the upcoming Sector 36 which is a crime thriller on the 5th of September. The crime drama has been produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films and Jio Studios. This film centers on a mature policeman who had initially been relaxed until he was hunting down an intelligent serial murderer, and then things turn personal after several youngsters go missing from a munciple settlement located in Sector 36. Based on real events, the film is the debut for young director Aditya Nimbalkar.
Moving slowly, the trailer shows that Inspector Ram Charan Pandey (Deepak Dobriyal) is a family man with a young daughter and devoted husband, who runs after serial criminals’ bows of don’t run, don’t run, don’t run. Frantically searching for him, he is a somehow entrancing single target who has a strange aura, Prem Singh (Vikrant Massey) who appears to be everywhere and yet nowhere. The story turns spine chilling when secretly hidden locations involve main characters living a life of crime blame anchored in Sector 36, a clamorous bustle of crime.
Turning his focus to the film, Vikrant Massey said, “As Prem, this role I was stepping into for this film, that experience was in a way, different than I have had before. It has been challenging to portray a personality that is the most terrifying character, a cold-blooded killer who can blend in with the average crowd. Aditya (Nimbalkar) has really worked very well in building this gritty world. However, this is a very essential film and as storytellers with Netflix and Maddock Films, we wish our audience will appreciate the necessity of purposes in our aim to create such stories.”
Deepak Dobriyal further said, “As soon as I read the Sector 36 script, I was hooked. It’s an engaging thriller which shows the gap between rich and poor and how crime can fester when it’s unchecked. As made up but this character is based on real events so he has the dynamism of seeking and pursuing, in a gripping film which focuses on the chaser and the chased. I acknowledge, Netflix, Madhok Films, Jio Studios, and Aditya Nimbalkar for this privilege.”
Co-written and directed by Bodhayan Roychaudhury with Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande under the banner of Maddock Films and Jio Studios, the film Sector 36 will be available on Netflix from September 13.
