If one of the most talked-about Diwali 2024 box-office bombs, the clash between Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, which stars Kartik Aaryan, and Singham Again, which boasts the star power of multi-starrer Rohit Shetty, could be appreciated as the filmmaker along with his collaborators has been in nail biting negotiations to push the release date of the film by two weeks. As per trade buzz, last three days there has been a common cause brought to the table by Singham Again – a meeting about the launch date hosted by Rohit Shetty, Ajay Devgn, Jio Studios, Reliance Entertainment and Kumar Mangat.
A source told Bollywood Hungama, “The trend of horror comedies has started after Stree 2 came out, and there is no ignoring Bhool Bhulaiyaa Adhyay 3 at such times.” “Singham Again team is exploring an option to release on November 15, assuming there will be no confrontation on November 1 and releasing their film instead.” The source further informed us that this is a collective discussion, happening in order to make sure that Singham Again does not face any competition.
Singham Again is a film with exhaustive budget and to avoid any issues, the makers are taking their time. An assessment is underway as to the advantages and disadvantages of November 1 as opposed to November 15 as the release date. In the next 24 hours, a decision regarding the date of launch will be made, but the matter of fact is Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will be a competitor today because horror comedies are now in vogue. If Stree 2 with Shradhha and Rajkummar can achieve Rs.600 crores, then there is no ceiling for a much larger franchise with artists like Kartik Aarya, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit and Triptii Dimri’’, as revealed by the informant to Bollywood Hungama.
Curiously, Singham Again is the most expensive of Hindi film with the star–cast including of Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff and Arjun Kapoor. However, the makers want to be extra sure on the date as we all understand that bundles are spent the more star cast is added and therefore more expectations of an outing traducer are made.
