Jigra’s teaser cleared by CBFC; Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 teaser might be attached with Khel Khel Mein; Chhava and Skyforce promos expected with Stree 2
With three major Hindi films set to hit cinemas on August 15 – Stree 2, Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa, this low phase of the box office is expected to be over within a week. And that’s why there will be a lot of footfalls for these three films and hence, expect promos of upcoming exciting films to be attached to these films.
On the other hand, Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) passed yesterday (August 8) the much-awaited teaser of the Diwali release Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. It is one minute thirty two seconds long and has U/A certificate. A trade source told Parami News, “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is produced by T-Series, who have also backed Khel Khel Mein. With the teaser being certified one week before the latter’s release, one can expect the promo to be attached to the Akshay Kumar film.”
Meanwhile, while talking about Stree 2 it is reported that two teasers will accompany it – Skyforce and Chhava. Skyforce also produced like Stree 2 by Jio Studios and Maddock Films and stars Akshay Kumar in lead role which releases on October 2 this year.
Chhava on her part depicts the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj with Vicky Kaushal playing Sambhaji Maharaj while Rashmika Mandanna plays his wife Tarabai. Laxman Utekar directs it under Maddock Films after directing Zara Hatke Zara Bachke (2023). It is likely to reach theaters on December 6, 2024.
And not only that. On August 6, CBFC passed the teaser of Alia Bhatt’s only release of the year, Jigra, directed by Vasan Bala of Monica O My Darling (2022). The promo is anticipated to run for about two minutes and it is certified “U”. As such, given that the movie will be released in two months’ time – October 11th, thus we can anticipate the release of the promo anytime soon. Nonetheless, no information has been provided yet as to whether Jigra’s teaser will feature among any other trailers for films releasing prior to Independence Day.
