The franchise that everyone has been looking forward to, Dhoom 4, is without a doubt in the works at YRF. Sources very close to the production house has confirm that Aditya Chopra is developing Dhoom 4 with Sridhar Raghavan and Vijay Krishna Acharya as the single and compulsory writers. Aditya Chopra, however, is very much interested in making Dhoom 4 with Ayan Mukerji, who is currently his favorite director.
A source informs, “Aditya Chopra seems to be quite pleased with the war 2 footage filmed so far, and has also talked about making Dhoom 4 with Ayan Mukerji. The director is also charged up with the idea, but has his baby, Brahmastra also lined up. Aditya Chopra has given him some time off as he wants to now concentrate on War 2 and after that talk about Brahmastra with Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Jio Studios, before taking up Dhoom 4.”
This source also informed us that Dhoom 4 is the film that drives Aditya Chopra most. “Aditya Chopra understands how powerful Dhoom is in the film industry, he seeks to understand it as it is the most difficult film to execute. Although he is working on a number of spy films, he understands the importance of the franchise and aims to make it at the right time with the right people and the right director. His mind is all focused to create Dhoom 4 with best talents of India,” the source told Bollywood Hungama.
The casting for Dhoom 4 has not been undertaken and one will have a clear picture on the same by mid 2025. As for Ayan, he is still left with two songs and some action sequences and will complete War by November 2024.
