EXCLUSIVE: Sanjay Dutt will be part of Son Of Sardaar 2

The excitement is building as Ajay Devgn officially starts shooting for Son of Sardaar 2, the sequel to hit Son of Sardaar 2 in 2012. Production has begun. Nevertheless, fans have been left with a lot of questions due to recent rumors concerning the casting.

Ravi Kishan Replaces Sanjay Dutt?

A few hours before the official announcement of the shoot, Mid-Day sources told them that Ravi Kishan would replace Sanjay Dutt because his UK visa was not available before this movie could start.

“Until now he has visited US from jail in 1993 and applied sevral time for UK visa but never got it.” Says a source who added “Son (SIC) sardar 2 shoot was supposed (SIC) his first trip to UK. (SIC) But after Ajay’s team found out that the senior actor’s visa request had been rejected they replaced him with Ravi Kishan.”

To clear these speculations Bollywood Hungama contacted a close insider. The person dismissed reports that Sanjay Dutt has been replaced by Ravi Kishan saying, “Sanjay Dutt remains an integral part of the film. The actor will be shooting extensively for the India schedule, as the character demands significant screen presence.”

In addition to confirming about adding Ravikishan to cast in an important role in this (film), the same source emphasized on not dropping off Sanja dutt too. Instead where ravi kisan takes over sanju dutt position and he gets portrayed as a lead character.

Changes in Star Cast

There have been some changes in Son of Sardaar 2 star cast as well as time changes have been noted. Mrunal Thakur was the initial replacement for Sonakshi Sinha. A recent rumor claimed that Sanjay Dutt failed to secure a UK visa due to his past criminal record and was replaced by Ravi Kishan. Nevertheless, a source from the production has said that he will still be featured in the film but will shoot only during the India schedule.
