Sanam Teri Kasam was not so warmly received at release but has, over the years, accumulated a strong following. This was a story of love and remembrance starring Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane and the audiences seem to have loved it so much that they are now asking for the part two! And it looks like those prayers have been answered!
According to a report published in Hindustan Times, work has begun on script of Sanam Teri Kasam 2. The same director’s team of Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru will bring the film so continuity in love saga which engrossed audiences will be maintained.
Sanam Teri Kasam Sequel to Feature New Faces?
A source told the media, “The makers want to make a sequel to Sanam Teri Kasam. That is, however, at a very nascent stage at present. They have only commenced the casting process of the film, thus it is still in all malleable stages.”
Tentatively, the title of the sequel as per media reports is Jaanam Teri Kasam which is said to be a musical. The source further added, “It will have new cast; the producers did not want to use the same actors again. They are currently conducting auditions for the main leads, and then they will recruit supporting roles.”
Sanam Teri Kasam Sequel to be Musical
On Jaanam Teri Kasam, the source Poojan Sah shared, “Jaanam Teri Kasam se will be a musical. The makers are in the hunt for a female lead who is attractive, can sing and has the glamor of a singer, age-wise around 18-20 years. As for the story of the film, it would be off course Aashiqui 2.”
Though the report has generated excitement, fans have to wait for the official confirmation of the same.
