The World Pickleball League held a press conference earlier today at a hotel in Mumbai, India where Samantha Ruth Prabhu, an actor with many talents and good looks was also present. During the event on stage she participated actively by playing pickleball and throwing it towards journalists. Who seemed happy to try holding it.

When media asked questions about shocking case of rape and murder that occurred in Kolkata this week that has shocked everybody in India so much, what did you say?
“Yes, as you said women’s safety is ‘the need of the hour’ precisely. It’s absolutely the need of an hour. We anticipate any change. We are just waiting for something different to happen because change is the only thing that is not changing. I hope that it happens quickly.”
On 9th August, a final year medical student at RG Kar Medical College in Kolkata was raped and killed by a civil defence volunteer from The Kolkata Police Disaster management group. This caused lots of outrage from doctors et al across India.
Samantha emphasized on sports as well, “…I mean sports has got like very big role to play in growth. You know when you’re into sports right? there is just this discipline and resilience around you everywhere… you put your hard work together. A sportsman will always be conspicuous amidst others”.
Filmwise Samantha Ruth Prabhu acted in two movies during 2023 – Shaakuntalam and Kushi. Just recently she attended her much-awaited show Citadel: Honey Bunnyon Amazon Prime Video teaser launch earlier this month.
Her co-star Varun Dhawan praised her for working on such strenuous shows despite battling myositis at this function said. “My preparation was nothing compared to Samantha’s because it was public knowledge. What she was battling with when she got onto this show. Starting out, I thought I was having a hard time rehearsing. But then when I’d see the work ethic that this girl had and what she was battling, that really inspired me.”
