Salman Khan is set to return to the theatres in his well-liked massy form in Sikandar. It was announced on Eid this year and Sajid Nadiadwala was a producer and AR Murugadoss, a filmmaker, started working with him for the first time. Additionally, what makes it even more anticipated is that the film will present Rashmika Mandanna popular actress acting alongside Khan. Given all these things, it can be concluded that the film has created a lot of hype since an update from producer has indicated that actors will spend quite some time on the sets in Mumbai shooting for it.
Mumbai will be the shooting location of the film for 45 days, where Salman Khan will also perform his life-threatening stunts. Sources say that massive sets have been built in one of the city’s film studios; a person who elaborated on this is quoted to have said, “Big studio in Mumbai replicates local parts of Mumbai. It took over three months to complete building it and makers spent a fortune making every aspect look genuine.” One insider has mentioned that the set was constructed for three or more months, and its creation cost a lot. The reason behind this being one of Sikandar’s significant schedules is because they are not only shooting action but also emotional and dramatic moments.”
Also, according to another informant, Rashmika Mandanna and other actors like Baahubali star Sathyaraj as well as Prateik Babbar will join later.
According to the source, “Even though Sikandar is action packed, there are plenty of emotional and dramatic scenes written in the script and Salman is excited about the high-octane moments he will have under AR Murugadoss’ watch.” The sources added that makers would then wrap by having a 15-20-day schedule in the palace before saying, “The team is scouting for a palace with grandeur and rich production values. November will witness the third schedule.”
Someone somewhere said that Sikandar would see Salman Khan again donning his bad boy look for which he has become famous. Makers are targeting to release it as a gift to their fans during Eid 2025.
