Salman Khan, the Bollywood superstar, is set to enthrall his fans once again with his upcoming movie Sikandar. AR Murugadoss has directed this film which has been in the midst of buzz right from its inception and the latest update only fueled it up.
Dainik Bhaskar reports that Salman Khan will be seen playing dual roles in the movie. One part of him is a businessman who has succeeded and is known for being involved in charitable causes. This character is portrayed as someone kind-hearted and miles away from a super hero character that Khan typically plays. However, flip side of not this shows another aspect of his personality – he was a ‘dabang’ before. This double sidedness gives more weight to Khan’s role therefore giving a fresh perspective to his fans about their loved actor.
The director reportedly purchased 10,000 pistols and bullets ahead of an August 22 shooting schedule aimed at heightening action sequences in the film. The 40 day shooting schedule is expected to be high octane all through with adrenaline moments running all over.
Sikandar seems like it will be a treat for eyes if its director succeeds in achieving the perfect balance between action and emotion. In fact, during its first shooting schedule, there were thrilling moments when khan fought against villain’s son Sathyaraj on board a private chartered plane.
In order to give total focus on this film only; Salman khan has dropped out of several other projects within these past two months including popular reality show Bigg Boss. Although he attempted to revive Rajkumar Gupta’s biopic on Ravindra Kaushik who India’s celebrated spy yet nothing came out of it.
