A gigantic 1,735-page chargesheet has been submitted by the Mumbai Police against nine accused including six arrested and three wanted persons in relation to a firing incident outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s Bandra residence in April. The chargesheet also reveals the presence of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and it was filed at a special MCOC court.

The recent reports indicate that the document contained in three volumes and filed before a special MCOC court is made up of various investigation documents. According to these reports, there are 46 witnesses statements and witnesses statements under section 164 of CrPC recorded before magistrate. In addition, confessional statements under MCOC (Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime) Act, 22 panchanamas and technical evidence also form part of these charging document.
The court will examine this charge-sheet and determine what happens next for this piece to go through the legal process accordingly., This latest development on the case signifies an important turn around on investigations into Salman Khan’s house shootout.

On April 14 at dawn two men on motorbike fired five rounds outside Galaxy Apartments where Khan resides in Bandra. Reports said that after continuous threats to Salman and his family throughout last year, he had even applied for gun licenses for personal protection but later withdrew them.
That also led Khan to reveal this during his statement with the police back in June when he disclosed about past threats from gang members of jailed gangster. Some of these include threatening letter found near his compound in June 2022, followed by fugitive gangster Goldy Brar’s threat issued towards him in 2023. Also as per one recent chargesheet filed earlier this month which read shocking details about how Bishnoi had even put Rs.25 lacs bounty on Salman Khan.
