A self-declared Salman Khan’s bona fide fan of Bollywood arrived at his Panvel farmhouse on Sunday night, June 2, and demanded that they marry him. According to news reports, the woman — a 24-year-old — refused to accept anything less than meeting Salman Khan and getting married to him. At this time, Salman Khan wasn’t there in the farmhouse.
Police Intervention and Counselling
Neighbours around the Panvel Taluka police station alarmed by this situation contacted them immediately. Villagers living close by also recorded the whole episode involving her allegations. The police consequently arrested the lady for her own safety and well-being. She was later transferred to SEAL (Social and Evangelical Association for Love), an NGO offering counseling services.
Salman Khan’s Recent Security Concerns
This incident comes amidst ongoing security concerns for Salman Khan. On April 2024, an attack took place on his Bandra residence. Up to five individuals have been arrested over the plan including one recent arrest of a suspected gang member from Haryana. Nevertheless, these threats have not deterred Salman Khan’s commitment towards work.
Salman Khan is now preparing to shoot Sikandar, his next film after Tiger 3 which will be directed by AR Murugadoss and also star Rashmika Mandanna. It is set to be out in Eid 2025.”
