The royal fans found something interesting in John F Kennedy’s grandson Jack Schlossberg‘s Instagram story which shocked them.
Schlossberg posted a photo on Instagram writing, “I think you should interview young people (me) instead of a dress you found somewhere to let Sotheby’s make $$ off someone’s death.”
His caption didn’t interest much but a photo frame caught the eyes of royal fans when they spotted Prince William and Princess Kate‘s photo in the living room of Jack Schlossberg, Daily Express reported.
A social media user on X expressed surprise: “Jack Schlossberg (John F. Kennedy’s grandson) having a picture of William and Kate in his living room wasn’t on my bingo card this year.”
Others shared their thoughts, with one noting: “He’s too funny, he has a proper picture of William and Catherine in his living room.” Some suggested it could be “a signed Christmas card,” appreciating this connection to the Kennedy family.
Prince William has acknowledged JFK’s influence, particularly referencing the 1961 “moonshot” speech as inspiration for the Earthshot initiative.
During a July 2021 Ted Talk, William stated: “I’ve long been inspired by President John F. Kennedy’s 1961 mission to put a man on the moon within a decade. He named it the Moonshot. It seemed crazy. We’d only just launched the first satellite. Putting a man on the moon that quickly seemed impossible.”
The second annual Earthshot Prize celebration took place in Boston in 2022, organised alongside Boston’s mayor and the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation. The Prince of Wales emphasised the importance of addressing environmental challenges with the same determination as the moon landing project.
JFK’s grandson expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative on social media, simply stating: “Earth shot baby!” in response to the JFK library’s video announcement.
Recently, on December 4, Schlossberg criticised Sotheby’s auction of his late aunt Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy’s clothing items, describing it as “super creepy” and suggesting he would prefer to discuss more substantial matters with Today Show anchor Savannah Guthrie.
