Richa Chadha, the actress, is ready to defy conventionality and take up a dual role of being a professional and a mother. She’s reportedly signed her next film which will begin shooting soon. The script for this comedy film has already been written by Amitosh Nagpal and it is set in North India.
Commenting on taking time off work due to pregnancy Richa Chadha said “I can’t speak for every woman as it all depends on where she is in her journey but I will be back at work as soon as possible as I have commitments to fulfill.” Richa also added that “I draw immense inspiration from my own mother who managed both roles with grace and efficiency. I believe; I can do the same because it just relies on how supportive your surroundings are and how hands-on your partner is. In my case, I feel blessed to have both those things figured out. I also don’t think it is out of the ordinary.
During their 9th month of pregnancy too, Mumbai’s badass women would go about town in local trains looking perfectly groomed with their gajras intact. My admiration goes to an average Indian woman and not treating her like she has some medical condition – no – carrying a baby inside you is natural.”
One close source from the movie production stated, “Richa loves the script so much; it’s a great concept in fact. This film’s pre-production should start by August while filming could commence by October when winter begins up north”.
As Richa prepares for this new chapter in her life, she remains dedicated to her upcoming projects, assuring her fans that her passion for acting and storytelling would never wane.
