The upcoming War 2 war film will come out in theaters exactly a year from now, and there is a great deal of enthusiasm for it. The film sees Hrithik Roshan pitted against Jr NTR as well as Kiara Advani. This casting together with the popularity of the YRF (Yash Raj Films) Spy Universe has created the buzz around it. Although this has been able to be kept under wraps by the producers, we now know something about how wonderful this movie will be.
Hrithik Roshan’s entry scene was meant to be breathtaking. It is said that he’ll engage in a sword fight with an evil villain in a Japanese monastery. There was information earlier that Hrithik would have an action sequence where he fights amidst Shaolin Temple but lately reports show that he will be introduced through this fight.
The said scene was shot in March and according to reports at that time, it came out when producer Aditya Chopra and director Ayan Mukerji were discussing the script of the film and realized that they had not explored anything about the Orient yet even though it’s part of their franchise. As such, a massive set was built inside YRF Studios, Andheri, Mumbai which visually represents it like a 300 year old heritage monastery on top of a hill.
Moreover, the Indian journalist records indicated that apart from learning martial arts for some weeks, Hrithik Roshan also learned how to use katana.
In April 2024, Bollywood Hungama broke news that went viral that too much like ‘Jai Jai Shivshankar’ dance from War (2019), where Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff who were fighting against each other danced together, the sequel will have Hrithik & Jr NTR shake a leg.”
A source told Bollywood Hungama, “Both Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR are known for their dance moves. Interestingly, both were recently seen in two-hero films – Hrithik in War and Jr NTR in RRR (2022). And both films had two hero dance numbers that were unanimously loved (Jr NTR shook a leg with Ram Charan in the Oscar-winning song ‘Naatu Naatu’). For War 2, they both come together and hence, one can expect fireworks on the big screen during their number. It’ll be like ‘Jai Jai Shivshankar’ meeting ‘Naatu Naatu’!”
