Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka have requested former Congress members who left for various reasons to return back into their mother party so as to fortify “Indiramma Rajyam”.
Firstly, Mr. Vikramarka appealed to the ex-Congressmen during the late CM Y.S. Rajashekhar Reddy’s 75th birth anniversary celebrations at Gandhi Bhavan in Hyderabad on Monday, where he made an appeal to former colleagues who defected from the party for various reasons. Mr. Reddy during his speech said Mr. Bhatti’s appeal is approve, therefore all Congressmen should go back to party.
Mr. Revanth Reddy recollected that welfare and YSR were synonymous with one another and development under YSR regime which has left a remarkable imprint in implementation of welfare schemes in the country. He added that The six guarantees announced by the congress government was inspired by YSR’s welfare schemes; Metro Rail, bringing Krishna & Godavari waters to Hyderabad & attracting investments to Hyderabad were all gifts of YSR rule.

Mr.Reddy recalled how Late CM YS Raja Shekhar Reddy desired that Rahul Gandhi must become the Prime Minister of this country and that all the congressmen will work hard in this direction. He also said YSR’s historic Padayatra influenced Rahul Gandhi to embark on his Bharat Jodo Yatra.
Mr. Vikramarka said schemes like “Jalayagnam”, fee reimbursement and Rajiv Arogyasri had changed the face of the state and health profile completely. It is due to fee reimbursement scheme that Telugu students could make their presence felt in IT sectors worldwide, he added. Hyderabad is a destination for development because of Airport and Outer ring road built by YSR government.

The Deputy CM assured that the Congress government which has been imitated from that of YSR would be run in such a way as to make every Indian proud of all Congressmen.
Earlier, they garlanded YSR’s statue at Panjagutta before going for photo exhibition about him at Praja Bhavan. There was also blood donation camp organize at Gandhi Bhavan on this occasion. AICC incharge Deepadas Munsi, Ministers Ponnam Prabhakar, senior leaders Mallu Ravi, Shabbir Ali, KVP Ramchander Rao, Madhu Yaskhi Goud and Anjan Kumar Yadav were among present.
