Sanjay Dina Patel of Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray faction) BJP Mumbai Northeast Lok Sabha candidate Mihir Kotecha slams his opponent Sanjay Deena. Disrespecting the Prime Minister, he said “Nonsense after defeat in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.”
“First and foremost I would just like to say that the day I get elected is a day which we will continue trying to change Mankhurd’s name to Shivaji Nagar,” He added, “In addition, with Ji’s blessings of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj all businesses belonging to blacks who are kin or descendents of Zakir Naik – whether it is drug business, gutka or matka will be shut down and there will be real governance.” The Mankud area of Kotcha constituency has a large slum belt inhabited by urban migrants and working class people.
The BJP leader ridiculed Patil for skipping a debate organized for the Lok Sabha candidates in order to present their opinions on the happenings within Mumbai. The presenter spoke at length about what we want to tell the public of Mumbai during this debate that was organized by Press Club in Mumbai. According to my knowledge, organizers put through 15 calls but Patil ran away without responding to any single call.
Kotchar demanded that Patil should come anywhere and discuss one-on-one publically his ideas regarding development of Mumbai. “I am sure you will accept my challenge and answer these questions regarding tax evasion,” he told him.
Mumbai last month saw unknown persons vandalizing Kotcha’s campaign vehicle. Kotecha, who is an MLA from Mulund constituency, is currently contesting for Lok Sabha seat in North East Mumbai. His ticket was announced by the Lok Sabha High Command immediately after which he participated actively in campaigns aimed at popularizing his candidacy for parliament; he represented Mulund in the state assembly. It is projected that there will be an interesting contest for this seat, which has been a stronghold for the BJP for two consecutive terms of Lok Sabha.
