Union Minister for Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy, on Tuesday, applauded the “well balanced budget” aimed at “Atmanirbarbharath” which has been taken in order that domestic production can be improved upon as well as saving taxes for the middle and upper-middle classes. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Union Budget 2024-25.
“The growth-oriented budget,” he said, “is about social inclusion where people from vendors to farmers to manufacturers will gain.” He added that this is the 11th consecutive full budget of NDA and first one in its third term emphasizing on empowering poor people; harnessing youth power; transforming agricultural productivity; empowering women and acknowledging tax payers. Mr. Kishan Reddy also thanked Prime Minister Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, as per a press release.
