Raveena Tandon’s reputation came under fire after a video of a man accusing her of road rage in Bandra, Mumbai went viral. Reports emerged that followed the circulation of the film which said a complaint had been filed against the actor and her driver. In this respect, an inquiry was conducted leading to the review of CCTV footage from where it was discovered that not one member of families complained about or were touched by the car in question. Consequently, Raveena was cleared and there were no charges against her according to the police.
Deputy Commission for Police aka DCP Rajtilak Roshan who made further comments on this matter, shared more details. He remarked: “The complainant gave a false complaint in the alleged video. The whole CCTV footage within society shows that while this family was passing, these actress’s drivers were reversing car from road into society lane. An argument started between them when the family stopped his car and told him he should reverse after checking if there were people behind.”
He also talked about how an argument broke out between complainants’family and Raveena Tandon as well as herself.“This argument escalated into abusive language, and actress Raveena Tandon arrived at the spot to check what had happened with her driver.”According to Rajtilak Roshan,” The actress tried to protect him but instead got abused by mob”. Both at Khar police station; written complaints of both Ravenna tandons family members were given who later through letters stated non interest in reporting any matters.
Finally, he said neither she drank nor hurt someone else by car. Raveena requested crowd gathered around not ‘hit her’ during its verbal fight with another family recorded on viral video which has caused many supporters supporting actress among social media users showing their opinions in posts they shared online.
