Recently, a popular Bollywood actor named Sunny Deol has announced his next film, tentatively called SDGM, perhaps also titled Jatt. The Project will be an action packed one when it is directed by Gopichand Malineni. Mythri Movie Makers and People Media Factory in association with each other have produced this film that stars Saiyami Kher and Regina Cassandra as well. Latest recruit to the cast list is Randeep Hooda.
Randeep Hooda recently joined Sunny Deol in this activity-packed project where he expressed his delight for being part of it. To social media, Hooda posted, “Excited to be a part of this action feast – #SDGM ❤️???? Cannot wait to get on sets with @iamsunnydeol Paaji and the entire team. According to reports, the character played by Sunny Deol would represent a Jatt—a word that describes power, heroism and unflinching nature. The title ‘Jatt’ was chosen thoughtfully because of its reflection of Deol’s strong keep fit image as he takes up a role tailor made for him which is aimed at showing his iconic image on screen. The movie is expected to take several months before completion probably early September 2024.
The music composer for the film will be S Thaman while Rishi Punjabi serves as the cinematographer bringing into play his visual storytelling craft in this action movie as Avinash Kolla takes over from there.
Deol has several other interesting projects lined up including Lahore 1947 currently being produced by Aamir Khan with Rajkumar Santoshi as director. Where Preity Zinta and Karan Deol are starring alongside him. Furthermore, there is Border 2 announced just now by Deol which is the highly anticipated sequel to the blockbuster drama Border directed by JP Dutta. Besides, he is getting ready for his role as Hanuman in the much awaited Ramayana. Also he is in talks for a project with director Abbas Mustan rumored to be an action thriller.
