Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Monday (September 2, 2024) highlighted the issues which has been there with Delhi Transport Service (DTC) employees and pointed out that those who ensure the smooth travel of lakhs of passengers every day have received only injustice in return.
Sharing a video of his interaction with DTC employees last week and a bus ride he undertook, Mr. Rahul Gandhi said on X that the DTC employees are asking the government that if they are permanent citizens why are their jobs marked as temporary.
Speaking to DTC employees after a pleasant bus ride in Delhi a few days back I understood their daily routine and problems which was intriguing, the former Congress chief captioned his post in Hindi.
“A few days ago, there was a pleasant bus ride in the city. Then I bumped into DTC employees and came to know about their work scheme and issues that they face”, the former President of Congress said in a post in Hindi.
“Unemployment nobody hazards occupational dangers and assumes a reasonable income with no long-term prospects retractable employment interim security these principles of beContract Labour has transformed a line full of responsibility to one of coercion,” he said.
