R Madhavan, one of the most celebrated actors in Bollywood, is said to have refused a big endorsement deal with a brand related to paan masala. The actor reportedly even agreed to be the brand ambassador by being paid a good amount, however refused the offer, according to the Exchange 4 Media report.
Paan Masala Endorsements in Bollywood
In the past few years, quite a few leading Bollywood stars have glorified the use of the paan masala and gum brands. Numerous actors such as Ajay Devgn, Shah Rukh Khan, Mahesh Babu and Tiger Shroff have participated in these kinds of ad campaigns. But as the moral backlash as well as the adverse health risks associated with such products has increased many actors have chosen to withdraw their endorsements.
R Madhavan on Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein Re-Relasing
R Madhavan is on the professional front also grabbing the limelight with the upcoming re- release of his all time favourite film, Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein. The actor later thanked his fans through a post on Instagram for both the retaining of the movies love and appreciation and their fans for the same. Madhavan also shared a video in which he was on a video call with his fans. He expressed his heartfelt thanks to all his fans for loving and supporting him over the years.
With the video, Madhavan added, “Its quite overwhelming and extremely humbling to receive such love, smahaan, and respect, I appreciate it. Thank you also to all the people who turned up, watched and liked Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein. Most of all, I would like to thank Vipul Shah for coming up with a so superb script and dialogues.”
