Akhilesh Yadav, the Samajwadi Party (SP) president claimed in Chandauli on Monday that the Purvanchal region would deliver the final blow to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
“The people of Purvanchal have made up their mind that they will support INDIA alliance. Since the elections reached this place, BJP is shocked. These were some of those who were shouting “400 paar” are not remembering it anymore because elections came to Purvanchal. The region will deal the final blow to BJP,” said Mr. Yadav while addressing a rally in Chandauli supporting SP candidate Virendra Singh.
In Chandauli, SP candidate is in a fierce contest with BJP nominee and Union Minister Mahendra Nath Pandey.
The head of SP also added that INDIA alliance would scrap Agniveer scheme for armed forces and bring back old pension scheme. “Your vote matters so much. Our party will win and you will be employed, there will be an assurance for you about getting a permanent job in Army among others, number of jobs would always increase and old pension shall be brought back.” Our youth who wanted a permanent job was given half hearted Agniveership ever since June 4 when INDIA alliance government shall come into being we shall work towards ensuring that our youths are given permanent jobs,” stated Mr. Yadav.
“The last ten years’ BJP government which has been looting and telling lies is based on nothing but loot and lies only.” They did nothing at all apart from looting us. Those 10 years in central govt., 7 years have gone waste in UP,” he said.
