A court was told by police that a forensic laboratory report confirmed that the blood samples of the girl’s mother were substituted with those collected from her 17-year-old son involved in the Porsche crash which killed two persons at Pune on June 5th
On request of police to do so, sessions court has extended the custody of the teenager’s parents until June 10.
Last month three people including two doctors and an employee of Sassoon General Hospital were arrested for changing minor’s blood samples taken from him after he had a car accident on May19th as if he was not drunk. One doctor is alleged to have been contacting father to one minor.
Criminal conspiracy charges against the teenager’s mother emerged on June 1st. On Wednesday their police custody ended and hence police produced these minors’ parents before this court together with two doctors and another hospital worker who faced charges emanating from one incident or another.
The doctors and employee of the hospital will be staying in detention till June 7 after which their remand expires.
Moreover, Police have applied for extension regarding remand period involving detained juveniles aged seventeen years who are held at a juvenile home for observance purposes according to JJB (Juvenile Justice Board). His remand ends on June 5th.
