Priyanka Chopra’s former New York City restaurant, Sona, known for its contemporary Indian cuisine and sophisticated ambiance, is preparing to close. The eatery which rapidly became the hangout of celebrities made the announcement that it would be serving customers till June 30 on Instagram.

In fact, the official Instagram page of Sona announced yesterday: “After over three remarkable years, Sona will be closing. We are deeply grateful to all who walked through our doors. It has been our greatest pleasure to serve you.” In addition, they write, “SONA’s final service will be brunch on Sunday, June 30.”
Priyanka Chopra’s connection with Sona
Sona was co-founded by Priyanka Chopra and Maneesh Goyal in 2021. The opening ceremony of the restaurant had a special ‘pooja’ with attendance from both Priyanka and her husband Nick Jonas. However, two years later she left the venture according to People report. PeeCee ended her partnership with Sona in 2023.
