One of India’s much loved destinations for entertainment, Prime Video, launched the trailer of Follow Kar Lo Yaar, an unscripted Original series, today. This nine-part series is an unedited and cheekily revealing glance into some aspects of India’s biggest sensation on social media known as Uorfi. It was produced by Sol Productions’ Fazila Allana and Kamna Menezes, as well as directed by Sandeep Kukreja. The show will be premiered exclusively on Prime Video in India in Hindi with English subtitles (and more than 240 countries and territories globally) starting August 23rd.
The story goes beyond what seems to the eyes about Uorfi’s challenges while acknowledging her success and showing audience her actual life away from being a celebrity or making paparazzi videos. The trailer sets the stage for a thrilling ride through Uorfi Javed’s interestingly mysterious world.
The trailer delves into the drama-filled but exciting life of Uorfi who juggles both fame and relatives in her relentless pursuit of success. Some of the things that she discloses include the grand plans including unicorn start-up status, dreams of becoming a celebrity herself amongst other controversies that keep her always in limelight. Through this completely unapologetic reality-following series, audience will see everything from screaming matches to fights between sisters captured on camera; cool collaborations gone wrong or nonexistent love life brought back from death.

According to Director Sandeep Kukreja , “Uorfi Javed’s life is an enigma that cannot be ignored, when I was offered to tell her story in a non-scripted series by Amazon Prime Video, I spent three days just following her on her activities in order to really grasp what she goes through every day. That was the point where it hit me this journey was going to be chaotic but absolutely thrilling.” He also comments: “However, capturing those unknown and uncontrolled moments of her life- moments which nobody else except her followers and the world are aware of- that were the real thrill- as well as true test. It was daunting yet exciting documenting reality in its rawest form because unpredictability comes as a surprise from it.
