Posters targeting Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar appeared on the streets of Bengaluru on Tuesday.
The posters were put up overnight by unknown persons, seemingly in response to recent revelations about JD(S) Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna, whose video clips allegedly depicting incidents of sexual abuse and exploitation have emerged.
Additionally, images of Congress leaders were highlighted on the posters, one of which featured Shivakumar in particular. The text on the poster claimed that he “exploited the image of women for political purposes.”
BJP leader Devaraje Gowda on Monday accused the Congress government led by Siddaramaiah and Shivakumar of being involved in the distribution of pen drives containing explicit content allegedly related to Prajwal Revanna.
Gowda further demanded that the case be handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
