A Polish thrill-seeker was apprehended in Buenos Aires on Tuesday, while trying to climb a 30-storey building without the aid of ropes only to be rescued by fire-fighters.
While dressed in an Argentine football jersey, Marcin Banot was prevented from scaling the Globant building when he had reached 25 floors by spectators watching from below.
More than 30 firefighters, ambulances and police cars were dispatched to the area after somebody inside the building called an emergency hotline number.
The rescue fell to firemen — this was something that he did not fight.
Banot has been taken into custody as he could face a bill for his own rescue operation, officials say.
He is 36 and has tried similar tricks in numerous countries with hundreds of thousands following him on social media sites.
Last week however, he had already made an unsuccessful attempt to ascend this same building which police foiled.
