The police officers shot down a 38-year-old male fatally in Brooklyn on Friday evening whilst attempting to effect a bench warrant, officials pitched. Wanted in three murders in New York City, that man was discovered under the sink bathtub which is in a water closet of an apartment located in Flatbush.
“It was after the suspect lunged at one of the officers with a knife that the police were forced to use lethal weapon,” said the police. They added that a Taser was used first, but it did not work There was a bench warrant that was delivered in Kings County in the Year 2022.
Addressing the media, at one of the news conferences held for the public, Joseph Kenny chief of detectives made a statement clarifying Harris was a ‘person of interest’ in the investigation of three murders in the summer time. Still, it is not quite clear whether the police had this information prior to opening fire or shooting at the suspect.
Man hides in bathtub

Lifesaving aid provided to man
Officers arrested Jean Baptiste and he was cuffed in an effort to provide emergency medical treatment to him before being taken to the nearest health care facility where he was declared dead. There is an inquiry into the police shooting in question.
‘Strong person of interest’
Baptiste was described by Chief Kenny as being “a strong person of interest” in the tendencies which left a 66 year old woman dead last month and a 24 year old male and 54 year old female in July. Authorities also said that Baptiste had a “romantic relationship” with at least one of the homicide victims.
