Three persons are being summoned by Hare Street police in Kolkata. This comes after getting informed CCTV recording and inquiry of officials from Raj Bhawan. Confirmed sources claimed the same thing happened in the public works division at Raj Bhavan. Statement by a Harassment Complainant to Police on May 2.

A young female Raj Bhavan employee lodged a complaint with the police on May 2, claiming that she was sexually harassed by Governor CV Ananda Bose (she has since resigned from her job) and stating that it had been repeated for a second time.

Raj Bhavan ordered state finance minister Chandrama Bhattacharya as well as police not to disclose any information regarding this case on their staff members while they were also told to ignore summons of investigation officers; therefore, police could not question them until now. He released CCTV footage last Thursday showing how the complainant left RajBhavan at evening after spending sometime at RajBhavan’s Police Post. The woman however responded to the release stating that it was done without her consent yet another offence committed against her by Bose.Minister Bhattacharya and tenamore Saying this footage proves nothing at all.

Officials explained yesterday within senior officials who said they have got CCTV recordings which were seized from PSUs working in offices located at Rajbhawan with regards to what happened even as per what complainant stated before mentioning these things when speaking with the authorities earlier this week about events on May 2nd.

According to her story, she came out of office of Special Secretary, Raj Bhavan where she went there for meeting an officer and doctor. Then she reached Raj Bhavan Police Post and arrived Hare Street Police Station under police escort. Doctors, supervisors – immediate seniors of the complainant , doctors and special secretary RBH were called for questioning according to officials commented.

Accordingly, some other person from RBI has already approached next day according to reports published in newspaper. Additionally, an official was quoted as saying that it is the case of “an incident” and not “against a person”.

The complainant said on Friday she hoped “some progress will be made in the investigation”. “But I have said that I am no match for the governor in power and position and am skeptical about getting the justice that is due to him,” she said. She added that some former colleagues had contacted her and asked her to stay strong. She said she wasn’t sure what the governor was trying to achieve by releasing CCTV footage that “showed nothing”.

This video has been shown at Raj Bhavan on Thursday and lasts for 1 hour and 19 minutes. It shows how she left Raj Bhavan but there is no word about any claims from this women regarding molestation by Governor.

Banerjee argued, “You are showing a video of a woman walking towards the police post after being molested. You are also showing a video clip of the corridor. I dare you to post a video of the woman leaving your room after the incident.”“

“You have absolute immunity from criminal prosecution so you can just get away with your shit. Do you fancy yourself above the law? Share all footages, corridors, rooms, chambers and not only doors in case you have any. I think what is happening is a big joke and I feel that the state should go to the Supreme Court about it also I believe in equal justice for every person.”
