The company, known as Buddha Air, a private Nepali airline had an accident on the night of Thursday when it ran off the runway while landing at Gautam Buddha airport in Siddharthanagar municipality of Rupandehi district, according to Nepal Media Report on Friday.
Flight 805 carrying fifty-nine passengers including four crew members landed without any problems.
He said that while landing from east to west direction of the airport Nepal, the airplane jutted into mud and got stuck there.
The passengers along with the crew were able to safely disembark from the plane.
Because of this occurrence, police said that they had to close down the airport temporarily for safety measures still with the aircraft on itquot; The Kathmandu Post reported quoting Manohar Prasad Bhatta, Rupandehi District Police Spokesperson.
Buddha Air is located in Lalitpur and operates international services to India, mostly Varanasi.
