There is a recent Pew Research Centre poll that showed former US President Donald Trump having a 4-point lead over President Joe Biden among registered voters. Only less than a quarter of Americans associate the word “sharp” with Biden.
Trump, however, presently holds a slight edge on Biden by just three points in one-on-one matchups between them as 50% back Trump and only 47% support his opponent.The progress for Trump is minimal given that he previously maintained an advantage of 49% to 48%.
The research also showed significant difference in mental agility perceptions between the two candidates. According to the poll, Trump was seen as mentally sharp by 58% while less than one fourth said the same about Joe Biden; meaning that this attribute has dropped significantly from its rating at 54 percent in March this year.

The stated fear was worsened by another slip-up by Biden at Nato Summit where he referred to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as “President Putin.”
Biden is viewed as being more truthful (48%) compared to trump who only gets trusted by (36%).
Nevertheless, while almost twice as many respondents (64%) believed Trump was mean-spirited when posed similarly about Joe Biden only about thirty percent answered in affirmative. Notably though both candidates had identical embarrassing ratings of sixty three per cent among all surveyed registered voters.
