Parvin Dabas has been admitted to the hospital after getting into a car crash in Mumbai. This event took place in the early hours of February 5th 2022 and the actor suffered serious injuries. A incident has occurred with his wife Preeti Jhangiani, in which she shared information regarding the accident and the condition of her husband.
“This is the first time we have felt something so traumatic,” Jhangiani told Hindustan Times. “It is always Parvin who is full of life and is talking non stop about work. How do you cope with such a change to see him there without any movement?”
Dabas accident took place on his way back home after working late hours in the office. Blinded momentarily by a set of bright headlights, he crashed into a divider, losing control of his vehicle. It turned out that the incident took place near a hospital and he was already helped by 2 passerby who went inside with him.
Dabas is presently suffering from the effects of a concussion and is undergoing treatment. Symptoms of a concussion include dizziness, double vision, drowsiness, and nausea. “He has been quiet ever since and has not really been able to speak,” said Jhangiani. “Fortunately, all the medical investigations have been negative including MRI CT scan. We anticipate him leaving the intensive care unit shortly and normal day—day care will continue.”
There were no alcoholic beverages consumed by Dabas before the incident as reported by Jhangiani. “He has always been very strict when it comes to driving and never drinks and drives,” she said.
The Pro Panja League, an organization formed by Dabas, put out a release regarding the actor voicing their concern and supporting. In their words, “It pains us to say that Parvin Dabas, who is the co founder of Pro Panja League, has met with a car accident on Saturday morning and is fated to remain in the ICU at Holy Family Hospital, Bandra since Saturday. It is still foggy surrounding the incident however we can say Mr. Dabas is seeking treatment. Our prayers are with Parvin and his family, the Pro Panja League management is watching the situation closely and will issue such statements as deemed necessary. We respectfully ask for privacy for Mr. Dabas and his family and friends. We all hope and pray that Parvin will recover as soon as possible and as fully as possible.”
Parvin Dabas has worked in several films overseas including Khosla Ka Ghosla, My name is Khan, and Ragini MMS 2. He has also been spotted in the hit web series Made In Heaven.
