Can’t decide between Thai, Chinese, Japanese or Korean when you’re craving for Asian food? This is a common dilemma for many people who are eating out. It would be great if we could have some Chinese noodles, Japanese sushi and Korean dumplings at once. But it is only a nice dream that cannot come true in reality. Nom Nom has made its way into Bengaluru from Mumbai with its pan-Asian dishes.

Nom Nom spread.
We started our meal with tom yum soup as soon as we sat down and it was drizzling outside. This rainy afternoon called for nothing more than a bowl of comfort flavors. Then we had tender coconut and mango salad for starter. A traditional salad was redefined using fresh coconut, raw mango and crunchy lettuce topped off by creamy sweet chilli dressing; it simply refreshed me during summer.
Afterwards we had Indonesian-style spicy bird-eye chilli prawns which came along with addictive Thai prawn crackers served on the side together with sweet chilli sauce which was mind blowing on all accounts to say the least! The spiciness of the chills balanced well with umami flavours creating perfect harmony.

Chicken gyoza.
For starters still we enjoyed chicken gyoza accompanied by Shanghai sauce as dip. Sweet savoury Shanghai sauce went great together crispy golden gyoza filled with juicy chicken creating that perfect balance in every bite.
Salmon and avocado roll
What stood out here was their salmon and avocado roll – A Japanese must have: Fresh salmon and creamy avocado wrapped in nori and sushi rice. The salmon and avocado roll is a wonderful Japanese dish which includes sushi rice, creamy avocado, fresh salmon wrapped in nori- you should definitely try it if you like sushi.
For the main course, we opted for Cantonese-style chicken with soya chilli oyster sauce that came with jasmine rice. While the fragrant rice went well with the curry; the dish itself was not anything worth bragging about.
We were already too full but there were still desserts to be had. All of them were beautifully presenting; we ordered Asian flavor chocolate delice dark. Dark bitter chocolate mousse along with a hint of coffee flavoured matcha cream was mix together. The presence of Matcha brought out the sweetness of the nutty dark chocolate mousse. We also sampled mango tart as our second dessert which was season appropriate since it just contained sugar for all mango die hards.
