Recently, a Pakistani musician Ali Sethi raised the issue of LGBTQ representation in Pakistan through his Instagram post to mark the end of Pride month; Sethi is thought to be saying he is gay.

There have been speculations about Sethi’s sexual orientation for years. This is however supposedly his first open comment on the same. The photo was accompanied by this caption: “Hi little one. I know it’s hard sometimes when they tell you to not be you, but the very thing that makes you different will become a source of tremendous beauty and power. love awaits #happypride.”
