Shah Rukh Khan reportedly stole from me in Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, claims Tauqeer Nasir; criticizes Karan Johar for not giving due credit.

Disappointed Nasir

He calls himself a former actor with honors like Pride of Pakistan and Tamgha-i-Imtiaz; he felt bad about it after doing the interview on Zabardast With Wasi Shah.

A connection claimed by Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna and Parwaaz

According to him, this is evident in his role in the Pakistani drama serial “Parwaaz” and Shah Rukh Khan’s part in Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. He said, “Even the detail of an injured leg which is shown in the movie was taken from my portrayal of that role.”

Credit goes to Mustansar Hussain Tarar & himself

Not only that but also according to Nasir; Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna borrowed heavily from Parwaaz authored by renowned writer Mustansar Hussain Tarar. He thinks both SRK and Karan Johar should have credited them as inspiration.

The romantic drama came out in 2006 with an ensemble cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Preity Zinta and Kirron Kher. The film explores themes such as adultery and complications within marriages.
