While jogging, a naked man fatally attacked a woman in the Alma Park near Lake Zurich. Mannedorf, Switzerland witnessed this tragic incident on Tuesday evening. The police in Canton Zurich said that it happened about 20 kilometers southeast of Zurich.
Some witnesses claimed to have seen a man “running around naked, screaming and physically attacking other people” shortly after 8:00pm (1800 GMT).
An ambulance was called to the scene where they found an injured lady lying helplessly on the floor. She could not be resuscitated despite immediate efforts made by paramedics on her.
The young suspect is a Swiss national aged nineteen who was apprehended at the scene. Neither the victim’s nor his names have been released as yet while investigations continue.
Authorities are also investigating if there were any connections between the two individuals prior to this attack.
The arrested suspect will face prosecution for serious violent crime following further interrogation by police.
As investigations proceed, more information is expected to become known from this shocking incident in which one person died.
