As the Supreme Court of India was granting interim bail to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday, Hemant Soren’s wife Kalpana inquired about her husband’s bail. “I am sure without a doubt that we will be getting good news soon”, said Kalpana in personal conversation with CNN-News18.
Jharkhand is going to vote for the fourth phase of Lok Sabha elections 2024 on May 13.
“It’ really recharges us all. It is hope that each one of us has, each member of every party in Mukti Morcha, Jharkhand and Gasbandhan India. We are happy Kejriwal is out and hopefully Hemant Soren is out too.
The newly installed JMM leader Ketan Sarangi reasoned that the Supreme Court order was within its Constitutional ambit and dismissed the argument that such a judgment made politicians like him also separate beings from other Indian citizens.
“Every five years general elections are held. As politicians, we have the right to campaign, seek mandate and fight for elections. In today’s era, there is a need to create a level playing field and save our Constitution. Our Samvidhan (Constitution) is our A major concern in this election. I’m glad the judiciary understands that reasoning,” she said.
During an earlier hearing at which Justice Sanjeev Khanna appeared inclined to grant interim bail to Kejriwal, the ED vehemently opposed it.
Kalpana thanked God that Supreme Court rejected ED claims against his husband “I want to thank the judiciary because we know it is the strongest system in our constitution… This constitution is for the people, of the people and by the people. This constitution needs to be preserved. My party and I are Support Kejriwal. We feel stronger having Mr. Kejriwal join us in upcoming elections as well as future political battles,” she said.
Kalpana made similar posts praising the country’s constitution using Hemant Soren’s X handle.
The country should be seen functioning under the constitution of Dr. Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar by the authoritarian forces. Heartiest congratulations to Hon’ble Chief Minister Delhi Shri Arvind Kejriwal for getting interim bail today. Grief and deepest sorrow towards his struggle comrade Sunitaji and other family members…
