Last month, the North Korea leader Kim Jong Un has been alleged to have ordered the killing of no less than thirty government officials. As TV Chosun network of South Korea reported, these “absentees” were said to have been chastised for failing to avert the flooding that occurred in the summer as a result, which drowned like a thousand people.

Despite the fact that there are no insights to the details owing to the standard secret society of North Korea, the North Korean central news agency KCNA stated that Kim had ordered and imposed a hard hand over authorities after the floods towards the Chagang Province which borders China in July.
Reports from North Korean state media said in late July B:. He blamed public officials for the deaths as charging them for dereliction of basic disaster control efforts.
Although China, Russia, and South Korea offered to help the North, the North has rejected assistance as tensions between both Koreas stay at a record high. In early August during a two-day trip, Kim visited Uiju and met the flood victims and talked to them about their recovery.
