On Wednesday, Norfolk Southern Corporation rescinded CEO Alan Shaw’ s appointment and also asked Indian origin attorney, Nabanita C Nag to leave her positions amid reports of the two indulging in an inappropriate relationship.

As per the notice, the Shaows was one of those who actively participated in the decision concerning the Core, while Moore actually lied stating that this was because of two major changes in their office. In a press statement, the corporation also clarified that Shaw’s departure is unconnected to the operations and performance of the company.

“Norfolk Southern informed that Nabanita C Nag has been terminated from her duties as Executive Vice President Corporate Affairs, Chief Legal Officer & Corporate Secretary at once. As a result of preliminary findings, the Board’s investigation is still under way. Jason M Morris Formerly, J Mma Design Editorial Director will hold the position of acting Corporate Secretary,” the statement reads.

He adheres to the core principles of our Company and is a strong supporter of the safety culture. Working with our accomplished COO John Orr they will work to further enhance NS operating performance and bridge the margin with competitors.”

Leunis currently serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of DHI Group Inc. George is a veteran executive with more than 35 years of professional experience across several until it became wholly owned by Republic Industries.

George made this statement after accepting the position: “Thanks a lot for the honor to take this challenge and lead Norfolk Southern’. Complementing him, I am also excited about the business opportunities in front of us and for myself in particular, especially with regards to operational optimization and our clients going forwards, creating a safe and pleasant environment for our people and enhancing value for our employees, customers, shareholders and communities.’

Jason A Zampi was also appointed as interim Chief Financial Officer of Norfolk Southern Company.
